Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men....

Recently a popular religious TV show featured a business woman who had almost given up her business when she faced a series of challenges and difficult situations both business and personal.
First, she experienced a hard hit when the economy was so low and production & sales could not possibly meet up. And while this was already going on for some months, she was losing customers and her inventory low; then here comes the saddest news when her sister was diagnosed with cancer, late stage.
At this time, her world seemed to crumble down because she and her sister were very close. She then told her sister that she was going to close the business as it was not doing well anyway and so she could spend more time to take care of her. But her sister told her otherwise! She reminded her,

At this time, her world seemed to crumble down because she and her sister were very close. She then told her sister that she was going to close the business as it was not doing well anyway and so she could spend more time to take care of her. But her sister told her otherwise! She reminded her,
"hey, sis, I have cancer and I'm not just giving up. I'm fighting for my life, remember? You have a business, and it's got more possibilities of getting back into shape and I believe in you, so don't you just give up easily!"
Then this business woman realized after some thought and prayerful days, that indeed her sister was right. She was enlightened more after reading some bible verses, that any business we have in our hands, it is not ours, it is the Lord's. As we understand that, “the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,” (Psalm 24:1) we can see that we are merely temporary possessors (or stewards) of things that He owns.

Realize that you are a steward.
You are a steward, or manager, to whom God has entrusted a portion of his riches.
1 Corinthians 4:1-2
Let a man so consider us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
